Today it is nothing but facts, and it is about none other than Fruits. If you like fruits you are gonna like these fruit facts. I am not delaying let's catch it fresh!

1: THESE FRUITS HAVE PLENTY OF SEEDS!

Do you know that Strawberry has an average of 200 seeds or that pomegranate contains up to 1000 seeds? Then now you know!

2: THE EXPENSIVE FRUIT

Yes, the expensive fruit. The Japanese Yubari cantaloupe is one of the most expensive fruits on the planet. At an auction, two of these melons sold for the sum of $23,500!

3: AN APPLE IS 1 YEAR OLD?

Apples are one of those fruits that are available for sale year-round, even though the actual season for harvesting is rather short. Thanks to technology, apples are able to be stored and preserved, between the gap of being harvested and actually making it to market. So in short, an apple purchased and eaten today may actually be up to a year old.

4: THE BOUNCING FRUIT!

Do you know that Cranberries can bounce? John “Peg Leg” Webb discovered that these little fruits can bounce when he dropped some cranberries down the stairs in 1880.

Chilli Peppers are often used as a spice, but they have the power to promote wound healing and blood clotting.

Did you know that Apples, peaches, and raspberries are all members of the rose family?

Tomato is the world's most popular fruit. No wonder, most of us at least have 1 dish a day made out of tomato or have tomato in it!

8: IT IS NOT A NUT!

The almond is a member of the peach family and is not actually a nut.

9: THE FRUIT PEEL WITH MORE FIBRE

The peel of an orange fruit has four times more fiber than the actual fruit.

10: TRAVEL WITH WATER OR WATERMELON?

Before the miracles of extravagant water systems, people used to carry around watermelons to stay hydrated. Watermelons are 92% water.
